Meet Our Canine Family...
Prancer
Prancer is a fawn Great Dane. She is almost 2 years old. She is a very loyal, affectionate family dog. She has been stubborn at times but is very curious. Actually Prancer is nosey! It must be hard for her not to be keeping track of the household while she is in with her babies because she generally likes to know everything that is happening with each person & the other dogs.
We have found her to be an easy dog to raise although we can see where some Danes might get into mischief if they're left home alone while their people go out to work. She is very smart and has learned what we will and won't put up with.
Prancer will be an excellent mother due to her devotion and intelligence. She is doing a wonderful job with them so far and we know it will only continue!
Buddy
Buddy is a St. Bernard and is the proud Daddy of Prancer's litter of 12! He weighs 220 pounds and loves to play, sleep and eat! He is a lovely natured dog and thinks he's a lap dog. He barks when he wants to play, but is otherwise quiet. Surprisingly, he doesn't seem to be an eating machine like some people think he would be.
Buddy drools after he's been playing but for the most-part his drooling is not too bad.
He loved the snow this past winter and the cold temperatures didn't bother him at all. Since the heat has begun, he's had a hair cut to keep him a bit cooler.
